CalArts Graduation:
WE HAVE ARRIVED
I had an opportunity to be in the graduation planning commettee for the California Institute of the Arts. With my fellow designer Brooke Irish, we created the identity and event collateral based on the theme proposed by Carol Yoo: “We Have Arrived! A play on words with CalArtian and Martian, as students endeavor onto the world after their education at CalArts.”
Over four years, our students develop a relationship with type, communication strategies, and their formal voices. These essential skills are at the root of our program, shaping keen and distinguished designers.
